Rick Yarling, President of R.A. Yarling and Company has been appointed as the newest Allied Board Member of the Michigan Hotel, Motel & Resort Association. Yarling’s background includes over 35 years in the architecture and construction business with over 14 years specifically focusing on the hospitality industry - six of which were spent as Marriott’s Director of Hotel Architecture.

R.A. Yarling and Company, a project and facilities management firm specializing in overseeing new builds and renovations for hotel properties and ownership groups nationwide serves as the owner’s representative and project management consultant for new hotels and renovation projects. Since the company’s inception in 1996 the firm has completed over 400 projects in 20 states working mostly with major hospitality clients and smaller hotel franchisees.
